"Good food. Quick service. Lovely custom.coffee bar inside. Good choice for breakfast. The huevos rancheros had a unique spin and was absolutely delicious. Both French toast and the Cap'n Crunch French Toast were good. Omelet was also solid."

"Food was decent, eggs overcooked on an omelet otherwise was good. The wait was minimal but got busy close to 10:30am with others waiting for tables to open. The atmosphere was nice but was very loud with no sound dampening, we couldn't hear each other talking and asked each to repeat what one said. Price was fair for quality and quantity. Would I return? Maybe as long as it wasn't on a busy morning and definitely would get something that's not egg related. Service she would check on us when possible due to low staffing for how busy they were. We waited for about 5 to 10 mins to get our check to leave because we kept trying to find her to make eye contact with."

"Brunch at its finest here in the Lake Norman area. All the favorites you'd want to see at a brunch place as well as some creative menu items added. There is a boutique coffee place inside serving up some absolutely wonderful coffee creations. The "build your own" Bloody Mary custom menu is one of a kind, as well. Each dish off the menu was fantastic. Fluffy biscuits & meaty gravy, large melt in your mouth pancakes, thick juicy sausage, fresh fruit cups, and cheesy grits better than mama makes. Your tastebuds will thank you when you treat them to Sun Up Cafe!"

"Great breakfast, the scotch eggs were amazing. I got the traditional breakfast and everything was great. My decaf coffee didn't taste very good. Service was pretty good. Located below some apartments, lots of food and shopping in the area."

"chicken and waffles large portion, 2 chicken filets lightly battered and had good seasoning. The bourbon syrup was really good and the waffles were cooked perfectly and very soft, soft as a pillow. I also tried their biscuit and gravy. Biscuit was soft in the inside and firm on the outside. The gravy was good but to me the seasoning was very strong for my liking. It was creamy, not runny or thick. It did have big chunks of sausage which was great! Egg omelet I was told tasted really good and hashbrowns were crispy. Nice atmosphere for brunch. Our waitress wasn't the nicest but that won't deter us from going back and trying other food."
